    Worship Services

After three years of holding Sunday services in other places (following our fire in February of 1997) we have finally returned HOME - to our marvelous new building complex on our beautiful 13 acres at 401 North Kings Highway in Cherry Hill, NJ !
Our Sunday services start at 10:15 AM in our new Chapel. We have a meditative period with music starting 15 minutes earlier. The children in the Religious Education programs join us for an early portion of our service and then go to their individual classes.
Following our service, we have coffee(of course - a Unitarian Universalist tradition), friendship and discussion in the adjacent Commons Room.
Come join us! We'd like to have you...

      A MONTH OF SUNDAYS

September 2 "National Grandparents Day"  10:15 AM
Reverend Carol Taylor and Jo D'Antonio will present this service in recognition of National Grandparents Day. They will speak to grandparents rights and responsibilities. Bill Shimmin provides music for the service.

September 9  "Water Communion"  10:15 AM
Join the Entire church community for this inter generational ingathering service. Bring water from you summer travels as we celebrate the changing of the seasons with our traditional water communion..

September 16 "Living In and Out of Community" 10:15 AM
    -
In this, my first service with you, I will talk in some depth about the role of interim ministry with a congregation in transition. The role implies the relationship we will strive for during our time together. I look forward to meeting many of you on this Sunday and to sharing with you the experience of your fist full your in you r new worship space..

September 23  "Beyond Categorical Thinking" 10:15 AM
This service and the workshop immediately following will be lead by Tom Konkoly and Sayre Dixon of the UUA. The purpose is to guide us away from "categorical thinking" in our ministerial search process. We may and indeed should have a mental picture of "ideal" minister but should be open to those applicants of real quality who don't exactly fit that mold.

Please bring dried and canned food to church each Sunday
to be shared with families in need.

Emergency food is collected at our worship service each Sunday. The food that we collect is used by the Mt. Holly Christian Community Chapel. They feed the homeless lunch every day of the year. Here's a list of some items they can use:
