UUism Networks is dedicated to providing discount Web Hosting for UUs, UU Churches, and related organizations. Its purpose is to provide low-cost services by combining the buying power of several UU organizations. In addition to Web Hosting, UUism Networks provides Email Access, Mailing Lists, and other services.
UUN is operated by Jim Hermann, a UU since 1970 and current member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin. Jim is Co-Moderator of UU-Community, a mailing list for UUs. For for information, check out his web site at http://my.voyager.net/~jhermann or email him at jhermann@voyager.net.
UUism is a non-creed-based religion that is based on the modern forms of Unitarian-Universalism. However, UUism has moved beyond the limitations of being a non-creed-based religion that uses the names of two creeds. There is little relationship between UUism and either Unitarianism or Universalism, two denomination of Christianity.
If anything, UUism can be viewed as a denomination or sect of the religion of Unitarian-Universalism. However, it is not a denomination of Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion.
